  • Kevin Alan Skulczyck

    Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Kevin Alan Skulczyck is the host of The Kevin Alan Show Podcast. Born and raised in the small town of Montville, CT, he moved to Griswold CT where he still resides. Kevin has 2 children: Jacob, 24, and Taylor, 21. Kevin began his career in the CT Department of Corrections when he was 21 years old and served 21 years as a Correctional Officer before retiring in 2012. In 2013 Kevin decided to run for local town office as the First Selectman of Griswold CT, he was elected and served two terms. In 2016 he ran for the 45th House of Representatives seat and was elected, he served one term. While serving, Kevin was able to support the Federal Farm Act, which allowed hemp to be grown in CT. During this time Kevin was also co-owner and operator of a local bar called Pub 45.

Needing a break from politics, Kevin decided to completely change directions and live off the grid while acting as a managerial partner in growing 40 acres of industrial hemp. This experience gave Kevin a wealth of knowledge that allowed him to become a partner with Greenleaf Farms LLC, and open multiple CBD retail stores in CT. It was while he was living on the hemp farm and doing interviews about the project that he started thinking about starting a podcast. Kevin’s love of news, talk radio, and politics started when he was a child, so podcasting was a natural transition. After trying out different themes for his show, he decided on a news-based/interview-style talk show. The idea was to create a platform where everyone is welcome to respectfully discuss and debate their views and opinions and tell their story. The Kevin Alan Show looks to build bridges of community and commonality during a time when corporate news media is dividing the nation. The Kevin Alan Show Podcast has given Kevin the opportunity to connect with people from all over the world, which has led to many consulting opportunities including CBD, manufacturing, business and brand development.
